Ampri Bamboo Plantation Project.

The Project was started as a part of Ampri orange producer company limited.The primary objective of this project is to improve livelihood of the farmers by growing bamboo as Secondary crop in a well eastablished farming methodology.

Nearly 4392.98 Bighas of land have been brought under bamboo cultivation supporting the FPC members to become more productive, to achieve economies of scale by working together and to formalize the farm forest sector.The bamboo saplings are mainly supplied from Tripura Bamboo Mission.

The plantation project is under State Bamboo Mission(SBDA)- as funding Agency, Small Farmer's Agribusiness Consortium(SFAC)- as Implementing Agency and supported by Associated Tea & Agro Management Services Private Limited(ATMS) to meet sustainable bamboo plantation management.
